As a Major Account Executive, you will own a targeted geographic territory focused on High Production Printing environments, including Commercial Printing, Service Bureaus, Corporate In-Plants, and Specialty Printing. This role is designed to promote, sell, and support Canon solutions through key account management, driving growth through competitive replacements and new account acquisition. To execute these responsibilities effectively, you must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Chicago, IL.
Your impact extends beyond simple transactions; you will engage key executives and decision-makers to identify business needs, developing productive relationships that add value to customer productivity and profitability. You will manage complex sales cycles using a consultative solution-selling approach, creating strategies that position Canon products for long-term commitment. Success in this role requires resilience, strong territory management, and the ability to coordinate internal resources like product specialists and solutions engineers to deliver comprehensive proposals and implementation plans.

This is a full-time Sales position with a hybrid work schedule. You will report to your local office as directed by management and be available to customers in-person or remotely based on their needs. The role offers the option to work from home on other business days, subject to business requirements. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary, as the role involves travel throughout the assigned territory, including flying to additional cities and overnight stays.
