About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of property operations, responsible for the efficient and safe functioning of the community. This role goes beyond simple repairs; you will ensure the property remains a welcoming place by handling resident service requests promptly and performing routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems.
Your day will involve a mix of technical problem-solving and community interaction. You will respond to service requests using a work order system, conduct preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new residents by managing inspections and punch lists. Additionally, you will maintain amenity areas like pool decks and breezeways, ensuring they are clean and functional. A key part of your role is practicing cost-effective maintenance by prioritizing repairs over replacements and managing inventory efficiently.

Requirements
- verifiedOne-year prior experience in general maintenance
- verifiedHVAC certification preferred
- verifiedEPA Type I & II or Universal certification required
- verifiedValid driver's license required
- verifiedAny other certifications as required by local and state laws
Nice to Have
HVAC certification; Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience.
