About the Role
This role is designed to support site operations through comprehensive maintenance activities and administrative functions. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining tooling and measuring equipment, such as micrometers and height gages, ensuring tolerances are met to avoid poor quality products. The position requires a blend of mechanical expertise and operational discipline to keep a wood production facility running efficiently.

- check_circleRecord operational data from meters, instruments, and gauges
- check_circleMaintain and adjust equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime
- check_circlePromote a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures
- check_circleCollaborate with suppliers on quality issues and specifications
- check_circlePerform housekeeping duties to keep designated areas clean and clear of hazards
- check_circleDiagnose problems and perform mechanical maintenance on machinery
- check_circleUse daily checklists, PMs, and Work Orders to maintain plant performance
- check_circleMonitor and optimize stock inventories of tooling, heaters, and in-process items
Requirements
