The Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes in Hollywood, MD. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position is dedicated to performing and documenting rigorous inspections of manufacturing products and materials. The role exists to ensure that every part, assembly, and subassembly meets strict engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements before release.
You will serve as the frontline defense for quality, utilizing precision measuring tools to validate dimensional and visual requirements. Your day involves interpreting complex engineering data, including GD&T callouts, to determine compliance. Beyond simple inspection, you will actively support root cause investigations, document discrepancies, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement in inspection methods and standard work instructions.
This position is open to night shift schedules and may be filled at different levels (Level II or Level III) depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound inspection-related decisions within established procedures.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The selection process will evaluate technical proficiency in reading engineering drawings, experience with precision inspection equipment, and the ability to communicate quality findings effectively.

Associate's degree in a related field. Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems. Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
