Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As a Maintenance Associate, you are the backbone of our resort's operational excellence, ensuring that every guest experience is seamless and comfortable. This role exists to proactively maintain the physical integrity of our property while responding swiftly to guest needs. You will be the first point of contact for maintenance issues, blending technical troubleshooting with genuine hospitality to resolve problems before they impact a guest's stay.

Your day is a dynamic mix of preventive care and reactive problem-solving. You might start by conducting visual inspections of mechanical rooms and tools, ensuring everything is clean, lubricated, and ready for use. Throughout the shift, you will address guest repair requests ranging from plumbing clogs and electrical issues to minor carpentry and painting. Beyond the guest rooms, you will manage landscaping repairs, operate utility shut-offs, and monitor energy conservation efforts. A key part of your mission is maintaining clear communication with other shifts to ensure continuity of care across the property.

Safety is woven into every task you perform. From utilizing the Lockout/Tagout system to handling hazardous materials and adhering to strict safety protocols, you are responsible for maintaining a secure environment for both guests and colleagues. You will also serve as a brand ambassador, welcoming guests with a smile, listening to their concerns, and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
