As a Senior Engineer at Sheraton New Orleans, you will be the backbone of our physical operations, ensuring the property runs smoothly for our global community of guests. Since 1937, Sheraton has been a place to gather and connect, and your work directly supports our mission to be 'The World's Gathering Place.' In this role, you will operate with a high degree of independence, resolving complex maintenance issues and performing advanced troubleshooting on our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on repair work and strategic oversight. You will respond to guest repair requests, manage preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, and ensure all safety protocols, such as Lockout/Tagout, are strictly followed. Beyond technical repairs, you will serve as a mentor to other engineers and take on Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including conducting rounds and managing daily operations. You will be expected to display advanced skills in reading blueprints and schematics while maintaining a professional presence that reflects our commitment to quality and guest service.
When you join the Sheraton family, you become a member of a global community dedicated to creating a sense of belonging. We invite, welcome, and connect guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service. If you are a team player excited to deliver a meaningful guest experience, we encourage you to explore this opportunity with us.
