As an Engineer at Sheraton New Orleans, you will be the backbone of our physical property, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. You will respond to repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision, acting as the first point of contact for guests facing technical challenges. Your day will involve a blend of hands-on troubleshooting and strategic oversight, ranging from complex HVAC and plumbing repairs to routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
You will serve as a key member of our engineering team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. From replacing pumps and motors to unclogging drains and programming TVs, your work ensures that our facilities meet company standards and local codes. Beyond technical repairs, you will mentor other engineers, manage inventory, and lead Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including daily readings and rounds.
