As an Engineer at Sheraton New Orleans, you will be the backbone of our physical operations, ensuring the property runs smoothly for our global community of guests. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives with little to no supervision, taking ownership of complex repairs and preventive maintenance across our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Your day-to-day involves responding to guest repair requests, troubleshooting everything from HVAC units and pool heaters to plumbing fixtures and electrical switches. You will perform advanced maintenance on tools and equipment, manage inventory, and ensure all work adheres to strict safety codes and company standards. Beyond the technical work, you will play a key role in mentoring other engineers and acting as the Engineer on Duty, maintaining rounds and communicating critical updates between shifts.
When you join the Sheraton family, you become a member of a global community that has been a place to gather and connect since 1937. We invite, welcome, and connect guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service. We are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity. Our greatest strength lies in the rich blend of culture, talent, and experiences of our associates, and we actively foster an environment where unique backgrounds are valued and celebrated.
To apply, please submit your resume and relevant certifications. We look for candidates who are team players excited to deliver a meaningful guest experience and are ready to join our mission to be 'The World's Gathering Place'.
