About the Role
The Maintenance Mechanic II plays a vital role in keeping plant machinery and equipment in optimal working condition. This position is designed to ensure operational continuity by maintaining, analyzing, and correcting issues across standard machinery. The role involves a hands-on approach to mechanical maintenance, requiring the technician to perform repairs, replacements, adjustments, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment including pumps, cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicles.
In this capacity, you will dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, examining them for imperfections, and adjust functional parts and control instruments to restore performance. The role also includes the installation of new equipment and requires proficiency in Arc, Gas, and TIG/MIG welding to support diverse maintenance needs.
