About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team in the South Bay. In this role, you will be essential to keeping plant machinery and equipment in optimal working condition. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining, analyzing, and correcting issues with standard machinery to ensure continuous production.
You will perform a wide range of mechanical tasks, including repairs, replacements, adjustments, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on various equipment such as pumps, cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicles. The role requires dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, examining components for imperfections, and adjusting functional parts and control instruments. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing new equipment and performing Arc, Gas, and TIG/MIG welding as needed.
Hiring Process
Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the application process. This position is offered as a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime available as required.
