Maintenance Mechanic

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support an industrial client in Salem, Oregon. This role is critical for ensuring the continuous operation of production machinery and facility equipment within a manufacturing environment.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will serve as the first line of defense for equipment reliability. Your day will involve a diverse range of duties, from performing emergency repairs during production runs to executing scheduled maintenance during service windows. You will utilize your mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise to diagnose issues, replace parts, and make necessary adjustments. The role also encompasses simple machinist duties, plumbing maintenance, and carpentry functions as needed to keep the plant running smoothly.

Success in this position requires a proactive approach to safety and quality. You will be expected to detect faulty operations or defective materials and report them immediately to supervision. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, you must be self-directed and capable of following written instructions and procedures consistently. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for collaborating with the team and management.
