Our client in Necedah, WI, is seeking a hardworking and experienced Maintenance Automation Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a clean and safe work environment with full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm.
As a Maintenance Automation Technician, you will operate under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to ensure the reliability of the facility's assets. Your day-to-day involves performing general maintenance and repairs on machines, equipment, vehicles, and facilities. You will support the maintenance and repair of production machinery, assist with major overhauls, and handle tasks ranging from HVAC units and lift trucks to building repairs like patching roofs, fixing doors and floors, and managing plumbing tasks.
A core part of your role is troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electrical and mechanical sensors used in automated machinery. You will diagnose issues within integrally related hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic control systems. Additionally, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic and mechanical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to keep industrial manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Licensed electrician in the state of Wisconsin. 5 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or process environment. Experience in a high volume automotive manufacturing environment. Skill in conducting and evaluating computer diagnostic tests or attempting to reproduce the problem on a PLC test system.
