The Machine Operator Trainee is an entry-level position designed for self-motivated individuals ready to advance into progressively skilled roles. This role serves as the foundation for a career built on growth, safety, and opportunity. You will be responsible for maintaining safe work areas, cleaning industrial equipment, and supporting production by relieving positions and operating various light and heavy industrial machinery. As you progress, you will qualify on numerous machine centers to work throughout the facility. Success in this role requires flexibility to perform various daily assignments, adherence to strict mill safety policies, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team culture. The position involves physical tasks performed outdoors in all temperatures and loud, high-volume environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
