About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Evening Shift, you will provide essential nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role focuses on serving residents in Long Term, Short Term, and Rehab settings, practicing Evidence-Based nursing as the standard of care.
You will be a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues, families, and residents to meet unit needs. Your day involves administering medications and treatments, teaching residents, and implementing care plans tailored to individual age, needs, and abilities. You will also supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure compliance with care plans and resident profiles, while documenting accurate information in our Electronic Medical Record system.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates should submit their application with a current State of Connecticut license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. We value candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
