About the Role
As a Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Homewood Living Martinsburg, you will play a vital role in the direct delivery of resident care. This position is essential for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our seniors during the night hours. You will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments, while also serving as a key leader for Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
In this role, you will evaluate the physical and psychological needs of residents, responding with proper nursing techniques and protocol. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing admissions and discharges, participating in care planning, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will act as a liaison between residents, their families, and physicians, ensuring that all orders are transcribed and carried out with precision. Confidentiality regarding resident information and personnel matters is paramount.
