Position Summary
The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets by preventing and minimizing shrink caused by theft, fraud, and operational errors. This position supports store operations through proactive monitoring, thorough investigations, and strict enforcement of company policies and safety standards. The ultimate goal is to maintain a secure environment that ensures the safety and well-being of both customers and employees.
About the Role
In this role, you will serve as the frontline defense against internal and external threats to the store's integrity. Your day-to-day involves utilizing CCTV systems and conducting floor surveillance to deter theft while maintaining a visible presence. You will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving incidents of policy violations, ensuring that all actions align with legal procedures and company guidelines.
Beyond enforcement, you will act as a key partner to store leadership. This includes auditing operations such as cash handling and inventory controls, as well as educating associates on theft prevention and safety practices. By analyzing trends and providing coaching to reduce operational errors, you will help drive a culture of accountability and compliance across all departments.
