About the Role

We are seeking a Longwall Production Supervisor to join our successful team. In this role, you will provide direction and leadership to hourly employees, overseeing the underground production and transportation of coal with a primary focus on safety. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the longwall section, ensuring mining operations adhere strictly to the mine plan, federal and state laws, and Core Natural Resources principles of Safety, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement.

Your day-to-day will involve supervising the longwall face cycle to minimize disruptions from changing roof, rib, or electrical conditions. You will lead safety meetings, conduct pre-shift checks on equipment and environmental conditions, and manage direct clean-up and recovery operations when necessary. A key part of your mission is identifying and eliminating hazardous conditions related to roof stability, dust, gas, and material handling to maintain a safe working environment.
