About the Role

Based at our U.S. Corporate Headquarters in Germantown, Tennessee, the Logistics Specialist serves as a vital link between operations, sales, and transportation providers. You will partner with operations and sales personnel to coordinate daily truck and rail shipments, ensuring monthly goals are met within your assigned regional cluster.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. Your day will involve executing load tendering, planning daily loads for mills, and building strong relationships with transportation providers to negotiate competitive rates. You will also monitor shipping patterns, manage inventory constraints, and support the team during peak times. By spending time at regional mills and partnering with the sales team, you will gain a deep understanding of our production and sales strategies, allowing you to better support West Fraser's operational goals.
