About the Role

As a Local Account Executive, you will serve as the face of XPO within your assigned territory. Your primary focus is to drive sales increases through daily face-to-face customer visits, supporting both local and national sales efforts. You will act as a strategic partner to existing customers to grow their share of wallet while simultaneously hunting for new business to expand overall market share.

In this role, you will negotiate contracts and pricing directly with customers. A key part of your day involves facilitating networking between our internal leadership—such as Directors of Sales, Operations, and Service Center Managers—and your clients. You will also collaborate closely with Customer Support Specialists and Service Representatives to ensure administrative excellence and high customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires a "hunter mentality," the ability to understand competitor strategies, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet business demands.

Requirements

Proven track record of success in sales, customer relations, and collaborating across multiple business units. Competitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to win. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid time management and organizational skills with the ability to be productive in a variety of work environments. Ability to understand competitor strategies, products, and pricing patterns.
