As a Business Development Tech Executive within the Staples Technology Solutions (STS) organization, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. Your primary mission is to prospect, qualify, and close new customer accounts, positioning Staples as the preferred solution for decision-makers and influencers in IT and Procurement departments.
This role focuses on the aggressive pursuit of targeted Enterprise accounts within designated territories. You will execute total sales strategies to move prospects into active opportunities, leveraging deep research to engage in consultative conversations. Success requires a "relentless hunter" mentality combined with a collaborative nature, allowing you to work effectively with internal resources like Marketing, Technology Experts, and Services, as well as external vendor partners at a senior executive level.
You will serve as a strategic partner to C-level executives, crafting solutions that balance the needs of customers, partners, and Staples. This position involves navigating long sales cycles in the Fortune 1000 and Global 500 markets, requiring you to match customer needs with state-of-the-art technology solutions while maintaining impeccable communication and negotiation skills.
This is a remote position with a specific regional focus. While the role is designed to be performed from home, the successful candidate must reside within or adjacent to the supported region, which includes Colorado, Utah, Washington, Idaho, and Nebraska.
