About the Role
The Loan Specialist is a detail-oriented and dedicated role designed to support a local bank's mission of delivering exemplary customer service. You will oversee the entire loan filing process from start to finish, acting as a crucial link between loan officers, customers, and third-party service providers. This position exists to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and seamless execution of the loan lifecycle, from initial documentation gathering to final disbursement.
In this role, you will manage the collection and verification of financial information, pull credit reports, and coordinate necessary appraisals and title work. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving compliance issues and clearing documentation exceptions, ensuring a smooth closing process for both new and existing loan customers. Your work will directly contribute to the bank's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
