About the Role

The Behavioral Health Manager serves as a pivotal leader within OU Health's Transitional Care Management and P4P departments, overseeing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services across the healthcare system. This role exists to ensure seamless integration of mental health support into patient care, coordinating closely with nursing, psychiatry, case management, and pediatric services to foster a holistic approach to well-being.

In this position, you will lead a team of behavioral health professionals, guiding their professional development and ensuring adherence to rigorous clinical standards. The day-to-day involves managing complex cases, providing crisis intervention, and driving initiatives that enhance program effectiveness. You will act as a bridge between clinical teams and community resources, advocating for patients and ensuring that care plans align with both organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) or equivalent independent licensure (LPC, LMFT) who brings a deep understanding of psychotherapy principles, social casework, and care management fundamentals. The successful candidate will possess the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, including Joint Commission and CMS standards, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered focus.
