About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of duties during your shifts, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions. Establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families are key elements of this position. You will work effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure the success of the facility, collaborating with the treatment team to incorporate medical issues into treatment planning. Success in this role requires interacting with clients with compassion and respect, while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations in the work setting.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOrder supplies and maintain inventory in the supply room
- check_circleMonitor and track lab orders, outside consults, and medical transfers
- check_circleResolve pending issues from previous shifts including missed labs, treatments, and incomplete admissions
- check_circleManage medication storage, returns, destruction, and resolve pharmacy-related medication issues
- check_circlePerform administrative functions such as scanning documents and assisting with observation sheets
- check_circleConduct admission and discharge audits to ensure nursing procedure compliance
- check_circleCollaborate with the treatment team to incorporate medical issues into treatment planning
- check_circleProcess level of care transfers using the AVATAR system
- check_circleParticipate in regular department and staff meetings to support facility operations
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum high school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedCertification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per state law
- verifiedActive and in good standing license to practice in the State of licensure
Nice to Have
Higher education. Two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience in a behavioral health setting.
