About the Role
This position is designed to deliver comprehensive nursing care within a long-term care environment. You will be an integral part of a team that provides physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, their families, and friends. The role involves developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and defining interventions tailored to each resident's unique needs.
In this capacity, you will review physician prescriptions, coordinate with the broader healthcare team, and communicate care plans effectively. Your day will involve obtaining medical histories, examining residents, and documenting their physical and psychological status. You will also play a key educational role, instructing residents and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Additionally, you will ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication storage procedures, and legal regulations, while coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Requirements
