About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our skilled nursing facility, you will be the backbone of our nursing care delivery. This role exists to ensure residents receive comprehensive physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. You will develop nursing diagnoses, establish care objectives, and define interventions that address the unique needs of each resident.

In this position, you will work as part of a collaborative team, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers to manage care plans. Your day will involve reviewing physician prescriptions, examining residents, and documenting their physical and psychological status. You will also play a vital educational role, teaching residents and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Additionally, you will direct and coordinate the workflow of nursing assistants, ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy environment that adheres to all infection-control policies and legal regulations.
