About the Role
This position serves as the first point of contact for the firm, blending front-desk hospitality with essential administrative support. The role is designed to ensure a professional, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and employees while maintaining the operational flow of the office. While experience in a law firm environment is beneficial, a strong background in customer service is the primary requirement.
Daily Experience
Your day will be defined by interaction and organization. You will greet visitors and employees with a professional welcome, manage all incoming telephone calls adhering to strict client etiquette, and coordinate meeting room logistics to ensure conferences run smoothly. The role also involves maintaining the security and cleanliness of the firm's lobby and performing light hospitality duties, such as preparing refreshments.
While the work is primarily sedentary, the position requires physical activity including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying objects up to 50 lbs (with assistance available for heavier items). You will also handle light housekeeping and clerical tasks, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented approach to multitasking in a business professional environment.
Hiring Process & Logistics
Interview availability will vary based on the candidate's schedule. Selected candidates will be provided with a parking permit. The role operates on a Monday through Friday shift from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A business professional dress code is required.
