This position serves as a vital support partner to our legal team, performing a variety of administrative duties under general supervision. You will act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, outside counsel, and regulatory agencies, managing communications in person, by email, and by telephone. The role is designed to assume increasing levels of responsibility to relieve attorneys of administrative burdens, allowing them to focus on high-level legal work.
In this role, you will handle highly confidential information and complex assignments within agreed-upon limits. You will be the first point of contact for administrative problems, exercising judgment to ensure matters requiring attention are directed to the appropriate personnel or handled effectively. Your proactive approach will help anticipate schedule, travel, and other conflicts, resolving issues or developing proposed solutions on a timely basis. You will also serve as a key resource for maintaining the accuracy and availability of legal matter management and document management systems.
