As a Leasing Consultant, you will execute the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves performing all activities related to leasing new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals. You will be the face of the community, greeting prospects, conducting tours, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience.
You will also design and execute offsite marketing activities to drive traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs. By gathering and analyzing market and economic trends, you will recommend improvements and stay informed on industry standards and technology. Your role extends to lease enforcement, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and general appeal of the property.
This role typically requires a 40-hour work week with schedule variations by site. Typical hours of operation include Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. The position requires availability to work weekends when scheduled.
While the role includes office work, you will have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperatures, weather, odors, and landscape conditions may vary. You must be able to perform essential job functions unaccompanied and may need to push, pull, lift, or carry weights up to 20 pounds independently (50 pounds with assistance). Routine local travel for business-related errands, meetings, and training may be required.
