At Maximus, our talent acquisition function drives the strategic growth of the organization by securing top-tier technical talent for critical roles. This team operates at the intersection of data, innovation, and human connection, ensuring we maintain a competitive edge in the global market. As a specialist within the discipline, you will be part of a high-performance group dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where continuous improvement and industry best practices are the norm.
This position serves as a strategic leader and mentor for a team of technical sourcers. You will be responsible for guiding junior talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing innovative sourcing strategies for complex, niche technical roles—particularly those requiring security clearances or specialized IT skills. Your day-to-day involves navigating moderately complex problems, utilizing advanced data-driven insights to refine sourcing approaches, and leading large-scale initiatives that align with broader business objectives.
You will act as a bridge between the sourcing function and senior leadership, ensuring that talent acquisition plans meet organizational needs while enhancing employer branding. By leveraging tools such as OSINT, specialized platforms like SeekOut and Clearancejobs.com, and deep market research, you will optimize the recruitment pipeline. Beyond strategy, you will champion a positive candidate experience, engaging top talent through personalized communication and negotiation, while ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and governmental regulations like OFCCP and EEO guidelines.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening to discuss background and experience, followed by a deeper dive into sourcing strategies and problem-solving capabilities. Final stages involve collaboration with senior leadership to ensure alignment with team goals and long-term vision.
