The Services Instrumentation and Controls C10 / C35.6 Systems Engineer is a pivotal role within the design, development, and testing of Instrumentation and Control (I&C) platforms. This position focuses on controlling safety-critical functions for the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor. As a cross-functional discipline, this role bridges business and technical needs to ensure the robust design, creation, and optimization of systems from concept through production and operation.
You will serve as a technical resource, guiding the integration of components and products to maximize performance and operability. The role involves managing complex interfaces between components and execution organizations, driving critical quality (CTQ) and risk trade studies, and overseeing the overall product configuration. While operating with a degree of autonomy, you will be guided by established policies and the requirement to deliver high-quality results in a highly regulated environment.
This position supports the mission of delivering advanced nuclear energy solutions. The work requires deep technical problem-solving and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines. You will utilize in-depth knowledge of your technical discipline to execute strategy, propose solutions for complicated manufacturing processes, and mentor colleagues with less experience. The role is integral to ensuring that the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
