Nemours Children's Health is an internationally recognized pediatric health system serving more than 1.7 million patient encounters annually. Backed by the Nemours Foundation and Alfred I. duPont Trust, our $1.7B nonprofit system delivers care across six states through two freestanding children's hospitals and a network of over 80 primary, urgent, and specialty care practices. Our mission is dedicated to improving children's health through clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and prevention.
Our "Whole Child Health" approach focuses equally on prevention and treatment, partnering with communities to help every child thrive. Inclusion and belonging guide our strategy and growth; we are committed to culturally relevant care, reducing health disparities, and fostering an environment where every associate, patient, and family feels supported and valued.
The Lead Registered Nurse serves as a clinically competent practitioner of pediatric, family-centered care within our ambulatory setting. This role acts as a vital resource to clinical staff, providing the clinical oversight and direction necessary to ensure the safety and quality of care for our patients and families.
In partnership with the Nurse Manager and Office Manager, you will promote the professional development of all clinical associates through role modeling, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback. You will monitor ongoing clinical performance across registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and other support personnel. Your day-to-day impact involves facilitating operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient care flow and safety.
