This position serves as the clinic's Vaccine Coordinator and lead for the Immunization Station. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of vaccines, emphasizing patient-centered care, adherence to immunization schedules, and vaccine safety. The role is designed for an experienced RN (Level 1 or 2) who collaborates with providers, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure timely immunizations and accurate documentation in the electronic health record and state immunization registry.
In this role, you will manage effective vaccine inventory, including ordering, storage, rotation, and waste reduction. You will also play a key part in staff training and competency validation. Whether you are an advanced beginner or a seasoned professional, you will model the OU Health Way through your interactions with employees and patients, resolving complaints in a timely manner and advocating for the best interests of our young patients.
