Career Systems Development Corporation (CSD) is dedicated to empowering young adults through comprehensive job training and residential education. Our mission centers on transforming lives by providing a supportive, mission-driven environment where students can develop the skills, confidence, and health necessary for successful employment and independent living.
As a Registered Nurse at our Job Corps center, you will serve as a vital pillar of student health and well-being. This role goes beyond clinical care; it is about fostering a culture of wellness and safety within a unique residential training community. You will be the primary health advocate for young adults, guiding them through health challenges while reinforcing the values of self-care and personal responsibility.
In this position, you will work at the intersection of healthcare and youth development. Your day will involve conducting comprehensive health assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, and delivering targeted health education on topics ranging from nutrition to mental health awareness. You will collaborate closely with academic instructors, counselors, and residential staff to ensure a holistic approach to student success, ensuring that health barriers do not impede their journey toward employment.
We are committed to providing a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach to care. We deeply respect the diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences of our students and staff. CSD values support, diversity, innovation, and continuous learning, and we expect every team member to model these principles in their daily interactions. We believe that a healthy student is a successful student, and we strive to create an environment where everyone feels safe, heard, and valued.
CSD is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
