About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as a vital link in the continuum of care for our cardiology patients. This role exists to ensure comprehensive cardiac assessments, precise monitoring, and effective patient education are delivered seamlessly across both clinic and procedure settings. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and the broader team to develop and update care plans, supporting patients through diagnostic testing and interventional procedures. Your day will involve triaging patient calls, managing symptom concerns, and coordinating timely follow-ups, all while contributing to quality, safety, and infection prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform comprehensive cardiac assessments and monitor vital signs and telemetry
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols
- check_circlePrepare patients for and recover patients from cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care
- check_circleCollaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- check_circleDocument care, assessments, and patient education accurately in the EHR
- check_circleSupport quality, safety, and infection prevention initiatives within the practice
- check_circleTriage patient calls, manage symptom concerns, and coordinate timely follow-up
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS certification (or obtained shortly after hire)
Nice to Have
Prior cardiology or critical care experience. Telemetry certification.
