About the Role
As a Cardiac Nurse, you will deliver high-quality care to individuals with heart conditions. This role exists to ensure comprehensive support for patients throughout their cardiac journey, from initial assessment to recovery. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases, assist with cardiac procedures, and provide essential post-procedure care.
Your day will involve performing comprehensive assessments, monitoring vitals and telemetry, and responding swiftly to changes in patient conditions. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in educating patients and their families on heart health, treatments, and necessary lifestyle modifications. You will also participate in interdisciplinary rounds to contribute to care planning and support quality and safety initiatives within the department.
