About the Role
As a Pastry Cook 1 at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our bakery outlets. This position is designed to support the culinary team in executing exceptional menu items, ensuring that every pastry meets our high standards for timing, quality, temperature, portion, and presentation.
You will work closely with Leads and Chefs to deliver outstanding bakery products to all resort restaurant outlets and banquets. The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm, from scaling, mixing, and proofing to baking, decorating, and finishing. You will be responsible for replicating recipes with precision, preparing custom cakes and wedding amenities, and interpreting BEOs for private dining events. Additionally, you may engage directly with guests by explaining cooking techniques or conducting promotional cooking demonstrations, bringing the magic of our kitchen to life.
