The Lead Medical Assistant serves as the first contact for patient care, blending clinical responsibilities with advanced administrative leadership. In this role, you will assume ownership of specialized operational and customer support responsibilities that require independent initiative and judgment. You will collaborate closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver direct patient care, discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, performing phlebotomy, and collecting specimens.
Beyond clinical duties, you will lead the daily priorities of an administrative work group and manage external vendors. This includes coordinating work activities, monitoring progress toward schedules and goals, and overseeing the work of other Medical Assistants. As a leader, you will contribute to process improvement, deliver in-depth training, and provide advanced guidance and mentoring to your team. You will be the primary administrative owner of key processes, ensuring the smooth operation of your care center.

1+ years MA experience in PCO center; Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience; Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication)
