This Service Technician position is vital to the operational success of a Garden-style property currently in the Lease Up stage, featuring 305 units. The role ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's rigorous standards.
You will be the first line of defense for resident satisfaction, diagnosing and repairing defects generated from service requests while executing preventative maintenance. A significant portion of your day involves the "make-ready" process, preparing vacant apartments for new residents by managing inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks. Beyond individual unit repairs, you will maintain the broader property environment by managing groundskeeping, pressure-washing common areas, and ensuring amenities are pristine.
The role requires a flexible schedule, including a rotating on-call component for evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous support for residents and property needs. You will also play a key role in cost-control initiatives by prioritizing repairs over replacements and managing inventory efficiently.
