The Service Technician is a vital member of the on-site team, performing technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for resident service requests, diagnosing defects and executing repairs in accordance with established policies and safety standards. A significant portion of your day involves the "make-ready" process, preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by conducting inspections, managing vendor schedules, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard. You will also play a key role in maintaining the property's grounds and amenities, from pressure-washing common areas to general cleaning and painting.
Beyond technical repairs, you will support cost-cutting initiatives by practicing efficient use of materials and tools, and ensuring accurate documentation of all service requests. You will also act as a safety advocate by participating in routine safety meetings, completing required training, and identifying potential risks during property inspections.
