This position serves as the technical and mechanical backbone of the property, ensuring that the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company's rigorous standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The role is vital to maintaining the quality of life for residents and the operational efficiency of the community.
Day-to-day, you will be the first point of contact for resident service requests, diagnosing defects and executing repairs in accordance with established policies and safety codes. You will also drive the "make-ready" process for vacant units, coordinating inspections, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks to ensure homes are pristine for new move-ins. Beyond individual repairs, you will play a key role in cost-cutting initiatives by prioritizing repairs over replacements and managing inventory responsibly. Your work extends to the grounds and common areas, where you will maintain cleanliness and safety through tasks like pressure washing, general cleaning, and signage maintenance.
This role requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to take call during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the physical stamina to work in all weather conditions and navigate various property environments.
