About the Role
As the Lead IT Epic Analyst for Professional Billing, you will be the subject matter expert driving the advanced design, configuration, and optimization of our Epic Professional Billing application. This role exists to ensure our system functionality perfectly mirrors the intricate realities of our billing operations, turning business needs into seamless Epic workflows.
In this position, you will partner closely with operational stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. Your day-to-day involves leading the full lifecycle of the application—from design and testing to support and troubleshooting. You will champion the implementation of "Gold Star" and "Staying Current" functionalities, ensuring the system remains performant and aligned with the latest industry standards. Beyond technical execution, you will act as the primary liaison between the IT team and operational counterparts, facilitating collaboration and presenting strategic insights to leadership.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Charge Router certification; Additional Epic certifications or cross-certifications (e.g., Hospital Billing, Resolute, Claims, or related revenue cycle modules); Experience with revenue cycle operations, billing, and reimbursement processes in a healthcare setting; Knowledge and hands-on experience with Epic Charge Router and/or Charging workflows; Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or data extracts; Experience with project management methodologies and tools; Prior experience with Epic upgrade cycles, optimization initiatives, or strategic system projects; Expertise in Epic integration points and downstream system impacts.
