Our client is a premier Medical Center facility operating under a California Public Ivy university, serving as one of the largest health delivery systems in the state. The Community Affiliate program within this organization provides a shared clinical record designed to improve care coordination, ensure smooth transitions between patient care locations, and enhance treatment continuity while reducing costs by eliminating duplicative services.
As an Epic Professional Billing Application Analyst, you will serve as an integral team member accountable to Community Affiliates. Your primary focus will be developing, supporting, and maintaining Epic's Professional Billing and Claims applications. Working under the direction of a Team Lead or Manager, you will configure, build, and install application components while serving as the principal contact for resolving complex integrated issues.
In this 100% remote role based in San Francisco, CA, you will analyze workflows to understand the policies and constraints of clinical and business operations. You will conduct in-depth investigations to document operational specifications, analyze new releases to determine necessary workflow modifications, and manage system testing and data validation. Additionally, you will develop internal procedures, establish change control processes, and guide cross-functional teams in designing advanced programs. This position requires the ability to negotiate scope and approach with team members, end users, and IT infrastructure partners.
