As a Lead Driver, you will be the brand on wheels, leading daily operations to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of office supplies. In this position, you will train and mentor new delivery drivers while stepping in to cover for supervisors and other drivers as needed. Your day involves managing routes for drivers in the building, scheduling deliveries, and partnering with supervisors to resolve any emerging issues.
You will be a problem solver for our customers, providing support, accepting returns, and empowered to make their day. Depending on volume, you will also organize and load vehicles, utilizing manifests to ensure the most efficient delivery schedule. Safety is our utmost priority; you will be essential to fostering our safety culture by ensuring safe work practices, performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
Current Associates are not eligible for Retention or Sign On Bonuses. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving history. The role requires the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) and obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
