As a Water Sciences Operator/Dive Technician, you will serve as the primary support for all Animal Programs dive activities, including guest programs such as SAS and Underwater Explorers. This role is vital to our aquatic animal health program, ensuring adherence to strict water quality guidelines and dive safety standards.
You will operate water treatment systems, monitor animal habitats, and dive to clean habitats and remove debris. Your day will involve performing routine water quality analysis, testing critical components, and running checks on control systems to ensure proper equipment operation. You will interpret data related to treatment system operations to effectively troubleshoot and resolve system problems, while also handling dive gear for both guest and team programs. Additionally, you may assist with basic animal husbandry tasks such as food preparation and guest fish feeding programs.
This is an hourly role primarily working the second or third shift. You will work as part of a global team, coordinating with Animal Programs Husbandry and Maintenance Support Groups to maintain the resort's enchanting environment.

Ability to understand basic principles of water chemistry as they pertain to Life Support systems. Ability to perform daily accountabilities including system inspections, skimmer/drain/pool cleaning, pump basket maintenance, manual backwash, pool balance, etc.
