Hiring Process
Applicants will be contacted via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
About the Role
This position serves as a critical component of a 24/7 contract, requiring the safe and secure transportation of detainees. The role involves performing all transportation duties in strict accordance with PBNDS Standards and Training. You will be responsible for documenting all transports, ensuring the safety of detainee records and possessions, and maintaining organized vehicle maintenance and service records.
The work environment is primarily inside a transportation vehicle, where you will be responsible for the safety and security of all detainees. This role requires constant mental alertness and the ability to maintain physical fitness for extended periods of sitting, with limited movement. Daily exposure to various individuals with unknown medical histories may lead to potential exposure to contagious air and bloodborne pathogens. If stationed at a specific post, such as a hospital, you must adhere to Post Orders and hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform detainee transportation duties in accordance with PBNDS Standards and Training

- check_circleEnsure all required safety equipment is present in the assigned vehicle
- check_circleComplete daily paperwork including Record of Presence and equipment sign-in/out sheets
- check_circleSubmit gas receipts and trip documentation to the Fleet Management Supervisor
- check_circleAdhere to Post Orders and hospital protocols when stationed at guard posts
- check_circleMaintain valid Armed Guard permits and complete periodic firearms recertification
- check_circleConduct pre-trip and post-vehicle inspections on assigned vehicles
- check_circleReport safety issues, accidents, and incidents immediately to supervisors
Requirements

Nice to Have
