This position ensures the highest standards of environmental safety and operational excellence by effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the landfill. The role serves as a critical liaison for community relationships and actively monitors ongoing permitting issues to maintain compliance with WM's Mission to Zero standards.
The successful candidate will oversee personnel needs, including selecting, coaching, and training employees, while also assisting in the budget process. The focus is on minimizing operational costs while maximizing productivity, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property, and reducing turnaround time for trucks entering and exiting the site.
