Our mission is built on creating quality homes, providing exceptional customer service, giving back to the communities we work and live in, and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth for our Associates throughout their careers.
This position offers a career with purpose, built on making dreams come true. As a Land Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development lifecycle by contracting land development vendors and reviewing construction plans to ensure strict compliance with Lennar's standards. You will work at the intersection of engineering, purchasing, and cost management, contributing to the goal of building zero-defect homes while adhering to schedules and budgets.
In this role, you will partner with Project Managers and engineering consultants to review civil construction drawings, ensuring development plans align with company requirements. You will oversee the bidding process to secure the best price, quality, and performance, while managing vendor relationships to build effective partnerships. Your day-to-day involves tracking contracts against development budgets, assisting in expenditure forecasting for cash flow modeling, and monitoring macro trends in the materials and supplier base to react to cost fluctuations. You will also collaborate with the land acquisition team to prepare development cost estimates, helping determine the feasibility of new land development opportunities.
To apply, please submit your resume through the Lennar careers portal. The interview process typically includes a review of your experience in raw land development, civil engineering, or estimating, followed by discussions on your analytical skills, financial management knowledge, and ability to navigate the residential homebuilding industry.
