About the Role

This position offers a career with purpose, built on making dreams come true through the delivery of zero-defect homes, rigorous cost management, and strict adherence to schedules. As a Land Purchasing Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for contracting all Land Development vendors and reviewing construction plans and specifications to ensure full compliance with Lennar's standards. You will partner with engineering consultants and Project Managers to review civil construction drawings, oversee the bidding process to secure the best price and quality, and manage vendor relationships to build effective partnerships. Your work will directly influence development budgets, cash flow modeling, and the feasibility of land development opportunities.

Requirements

verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent

verifiedMinimum 3 years in raw land development, civil engineering, value engineering, or estimating
verifiedOffsite Purchasing experience highly preferred
verifiedExperience with infrastructure, developing scopes, grading, environmental highly preferred
verifiedKnowledge of residential development and homebuilding industry highly preferred
verifiedExperience with JD Edwards accounting systems and Build Pro software highly preferred
verifiedExperience with on-screen takeoff applications (Bluebeam or Planswift)
verifiedValid driver's license and good driving record
verifiedAbility to read and interpret blueprints and civil engineering plans

Nice to Have

College degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering. Offsite purchasing experience. Experience with infrastructure, developing scopes, grading, or environmental work.
