As a Laboratory Operations Manager, you will serve as a pivotal leader within Kaiser's clinical laboratory section, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate laboratory reporting. This role is designed to manage day-to-day operations within a labor management partnership environment, bridging the gap between strategic business goals and tactical execution. You will oversee both credentialed and non-credentialed personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
In this position, you will act as a vital link between medical laboratory services and other healthcare functions. Your day-to-day impact involves aligning departmental initiatives with regulatory changes, leading cross-functional teams to enhance quality management systems, and collaborating with external vendors and public health organizations. You will drive the implementation of innovative testing methodologies and processes to improve the continuum of care, ensuring patient safety and member satisfaction remain at the forefront of all operations.
