About the Team
We are a dedicated dog-boarding facility operating two locations in Midland, Texas. Our mission is to provide a safe, professional, and caring environment for pets while their owners are away.
About the Role
As a full-time Kennel Technician, you will be the primary caretaker for our guests, ensuring their daily well-being and comfort. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of our facility, requiring a team member who can manage the daily rhythm of a busy boarding house with precision and compassion.
Your day begins in the morning and concludes in the evening, centered on the health and happiness of every animal in our care. You will conduct thorough status checks on all pets, documenting any health changes in a log and immediately reporting them to management. Your responsibilities include feeding pets according to specific dietary instructions and administering medications and shots as directed.
Beyond direct animal care, you will maintain a clean and sanitary facility throughout the day. You will also manage the flow of guests, handling drop-offs and pick-ups, and moving pets between their assigned rooms as needed. While the core duties remain consistent, the role requires adaptability; tasks may shift daily to accommodate specific health needs or unique situations arising with our guests.
Hiring Process
We are looking for candidates with open availability who can commit to working holidays and weekends. Please ensure you have reliable transportation to reach our Midland locations. We value individuals who can follow instructions exactly and possess the physical capability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds.
